It will be about love loss and change. 2009 brought about many new things in my life where I had no choice but to change life is funny like that sometimes. So I have many experiences and storys to share with all of you that I'm sure many of you can relate to.

I am also talking with several people about getting some music videos done as well which will be from my first album. I will probably be doing videos for Hello World and Rooted and hopefully Monday Morning as well. Once I have singles from my second album videos from that will be released before the full album as well. So things are moving along nicely right now.

I have definitely been blessed so far and as I look back being in the game for a little over a year now so many beautiful things have happened so far. I'm looking forward to more!Amy Serratahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04893211609557785740noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624963336451369605.post-40700712602862693682010-03-25T19:00:00.000-07:002010-03-25T19:03:23.057-07:00Listen to my radio interview from San Jose City CollegeTake a listen to my radio interview that I had today at san jose city college today here:

http://depositfiles.com/files/jqa7b34vr">

ENJOY!
Amy SerrataAmy Serratahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04893211609557785740noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624963336451369605.post-80403531125211283372010-03-25T17:26:00.001-07:002010-03-25T17:30:56.505-07:00The Power Of MusicI just had a radio interview at San Jose City College today and it went really well. Ryan said that it was the best time hes had interviewing someone in a while what a nice guy! I have the mp3 and some photos so I will be posting those soon.

I have been busy writing new songs this week and I just started a few new ones today that I'm hoping I will finish today. The beautiful thing about writing your own songs is that you can express feelings and emotions that others can't for you. Sometimes you will be lucky to find a songwriter who can capture some of the things that ring true for you but its hard to find. I was talking to someone the other day and he said you should always write about what you know. While it might be very personal I think its something that the listeners can really relate to if you talk about things that have happened to you. Everyone has gone through challenges and triumphs but not everyone voices them through music. Music is so powerful and it has a way of conveying emotions that nothing else like it can do.

Talk to all of you soon!
Amy Serrata
xoxoxoxoAmy Serratahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04893211609557785740noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624963336451369605.post-50614279526998564272010-03-24T01:19:00.000-07:002010-03-24T01:20:50.717-07:00Strange Fruit New Blog PostingStrange Fruit just blogged about me as well! Amy Serrata probably doesn’t ring a bell right now with most of you European readers but even if you don’t download this EP you have to take a quick listen cause next time you hear her name there should be sirens going off in your head.

This lady has got an awesome voice . I featured her on the site before here, and she was kind enough to answer a few questions (here) … but I’ll admit I was tempted not to write about her at all, not because she isn’t very good, on the contrary she is so good I was tempted to keep her as ‘a little secret’ only shared by a few other bloggers/music lovers.

Alas, I eventually decided her album was too good not to share.

Her soul/jazz/hip-hop hybrid style has drawn many a comparison, namely to icons such as Erykah Badu and Jill Scott, however I think Amy’s debut stands solidly on it’s own merits. And that’s where the good news comes in folks … you can now get the entire album for FREE, all you have to do is visit her bandcamp.com site and enter an email address, that’s it. So why wait? Head on over and get the (free) goodness now while it lasts, oh and if you become a fan after listening, you are in good company :) .Amy Serratahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04893211609557785740noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624963336451369605.post-58714665056812270732010-03-24T01:14:00.000-07:002010-03-24T01:17:52.472-07:00Sexy Never Left New Blog PostingHere is the official link: http://sexy-never-left.blogspot.com/2010/03/on-rise-amy-serrata.html

But I copy and pasted it for you here:

Tuesday, 23 March 2010
On The Rise: Amy Serrata

Amy Serrata is a name you should be familiar of upon this site, especially as I have interviewed the very talented previously, which you can view by clicking here.

Having nurtured her talent from a very young age, Amy has moved onto getting her work out there and so far she’s had a lot of positive feedback on her material, which is great. If you haven’t heard anything on this artist before, then here is a little introduction to the very talented, Amy Serrata.

Singer + Songwriter, Amy Serrata creates music intended to heal and bring people together. Amy’s interest in singing arose at an early age listening to the sounds of Nat King Cole; Ella Fitzgerald; Ray Charles and Louis Armstrong, to name a few. She sung in choir and started singing lessons at the age of 10 years old when she attended Nido De Aguilas, an international school in Santiago, Chile. As she got older she sung in several gospel choirs and through that experience continued to develop her vocal improvisational skills. Through college she studied Illustration with an emphasis in Fine Arts. During this time she took a break from singing, little did she know how much she would come to miss it. In 2006, Amy started singing with the Stanford University Gospel Choir. A couple years later a friend of hers encouraged her to create her own music. She let that thought simmer and shortly after began to improvise using poetry that she had previously written. The melodies started to naturally form and she then worked with producers: Hyp, HMD & Nyambezi, Willie Norwood to collaborate with for her first self titled album, ‘Amy Serrata’. Amy is currently focused on performing, working on her next album and writing songs for other artists.

Amy has very kindly allowed me to feature her latest album on the site, which is currently available to download for free. You can download the album via clicking here, just enter your email address in and you’ll be allowed her latest project for free. If you would also like to chat to Amy directly, then you can do so via Twitter and to top the feature off, if you would like to read a review on Amy’s new project, then you can do so by clicking here. I wanted to check in with all of you and tell you a little bit about some of my latest adventures. I was in the studio tonight laying down a new song that I wrote I came up with the melody and the lyrics and then I sent it down to Block Cheddar to do the production for it. For some reason I was feeling very creative today so I kept my mini recorder close to me. I write down lyrics on my iphone as well which I find very helpful especially when your on the run. I'm old school though because I then rewrite them out and save them as a separate file just in case I loose the other.

I have been listening to a lot of pop, rnb and soul lately re wirering my mind and giving myself a new perspective on music. I love listening to other peoples music and getting new ideas for new songs from that. Thats not the only way that I get inspiration to write songs but it is one of them. I will listen to what they are saying and I will think of new themes or spin offs of the subject. It is amazing how many songs are written about love and loss but somehow they never get old. The trick is being sincere with your listeners and putting a creative spin to it.

I was in the studio with Niamaj tonight a dope rapper and producer. I am pacing myself to complete this album by the time summer hits. I always like to write a ton of songs and then from there narrow down the songs to one album so that I have plenty to choose from. I can't wait to share it with you! I'm hoping that I can get an EP out as well this year. Ideally i'd love to get my second album out as well as a couple other projects we'll see how far I can go this year! OOT OOT!Amy Serratahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04893211609557785740noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624963336451369605.post-33611958781708340762010-03-22T14:41:00.000-07:002010-03-22T14:44:31.481-07:00New Review Of My Album on www.nakirabackstage.comI wanted to share with you a review that I just got today! Nakira has a blog where she reviews artists and she did an amazing review of me on her site www.nakirabackstage.com

Here is the link: http://nikerabackstage.com/2010/03/22/music-monday-artist-amy-serrata/

And here is what she said!

I met Amy via FACEBOOK a few weeks ago. It is amazing how we add and approve friends on social networking sites without taking the time to see who we are allowing into our social circle. Amy and I have been friends for months and I had no idea she was as talented as she is. I decided to go over to her website and once I arrived I fell in love with the jazzy/blues vibe she delivers. Amy is a lovely mix between Chrisette Michelle and Amy Winehouse (minus the cocaine and alcohol addiction). Her sound is up beat and happy. Taking you back to the vintage era of pin-up girls and black and white television. Being young and ahead of your years is not so rare as it used to be. More and more of the younger generations are taking the time to study their craft by exposing themselves to Artists and Musicians from our past. These unique Artists such as Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, and Louis Armstrong helped kick-start Amy’s passion for all things music. Amy is definitely an Artist you should have added to your playlists. You can rock with her in the gym, car, on campus, or on a Friday night when you just wanna relax and have a glass of wine (or two).

LISTEN NOW! www.amyserrata.comAmy Serratahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04893211609557785740noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624963336451369605.post-2720933646732539642010-03-22T11:34:00.000-07:002010-03-22T11:51:49.799-07:00GET AMY SERRATA'S ALBUM FOR FREE AT: http://amyserrata.bandcamp.com/As things are getting closer with writing and finishing up my second album I am putting the other necessary things in place like marketing, music videos etc. It is really difficult being independent and doing this all on your own. I've realized that I can not do all of this on my own and the only way that I can succeed is with the help of others. My song Hello World talks about how a man is not an island and how we need each other. I have really become aware of this this year. Its only natural that if you do too much or if you push yourself too hard your body will give out on you or you might become burnt out. I do not want that to happen with me which is why I am really trying to make sure that everything is in place. I have a lot of goals this year and I am hoping that they will be fulfilled with my hard work. Do not let anyone tell you that something can not be done because there is always a way to accomplish something. If you want something bad enough and you are willing to do what it takes it can happen.

I also wanted to share with you that I have posted up my music on bandcamp so you can get my full album for free the only thing that I ask for is an email address. If you want a physical copy you can buy one on myspace.com/amyserrata www.amyserrata.com as well as on cdbaby. I will also sell my physical copies of my album on bandcamp very soon!

The link to get my music for free on bandcamp is: http://amyserrata.bandcamp.com/
All I require is an email address! Now go share it! :)Amy Serratahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04893211609557785740noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624963336451369605.post-12557418022154117972010-03-21T16:25:00.001-07:002010-03-21T16:32:25.983-07:00Finding Your Own SoundIts a funny thing being a singer and a songwriter yes it is convinient but it also requires you to really trust your own sound. Making music is definitely an art but it is also a business. I always marvel at some of the current artists in the industry and the characters that have been made up for them. Some are like actors portraying in their own film and what is funny is that some people actually believe that it is really them. Music a business and like anything it needs marketing so sometimes an artist will do something over the top just to gain press.

As artists we have to determine what our sound is and what audience we want to target. Some are not willing to change or develop with the times and sadly enough are left in the dust. I think its essential to have your own sound but also be influenced by what is currently going on. There is a reason why certain music is selling right now and the artists who change and develop with time are the ones that I think have a better chance of staying in the game long term.

They say that with every new album it is like a snap shot of an artists life. So basically their sound develops over time and is an evolving process. I am experiencing that right now as we speak as I am writing my second album. The music will be more contemporary but I do not want to loose some of the qualities from my first album. I am trying to find a balance between the two.Amy Serratahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04893211609557785740noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624963336451369605.post-53988439742650100892010-03-19T14:22:00.001-07:002010-03-19T14:25:24.648-07:00Making MovesI'm lining up some music videos for my first album as well as my up and coming second album which should be released in june or july of this year. I'm also talking to some publicists and hoping that I can get a marketing campaign under way for the album as well so that I can get more press. I'm always thinking about how I can up my game and do things differently so that I can succeed. I think sometimes we don't know what we get ourselves into when we start something but sometimes if we did know it might discourage us to do it.

I truly think that things happen for a reason and the universe is aligning to make it possible for me to do another album. I am working with all new producers on this second album so it took a little longer to find the right team. However I know I have found the right people and am just relieved that I found them for reals.

Anyways I hope all of you have a great weekend! Stay positive and productive!

Love,
Amy Serrata
XOXOXOXOXOXAmy Serratahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04893211609557785740noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624963336451369605.post-47166021165963876962010-03-11T13:40:00.000-08:002010-03-11T13:44:52.809-08:00VH1 Reality TV ShowSome amazing things have been happening to me lately. Last week I was asked to go down and be filmed on VH1 for Brandy and Ray J's new family show that will be airing in mid April of this year. I worked with their father Willie Norwood on my first album he came up from LA and helped me with the final recordings of my album. He is a really talented vocal coach and choir director. I'm working on my next album right now and would love to work with him again.

I am in the thick of writing my second album right now as well as writing songs for other artists so things are very busy. I am also busy with doing several other things in my life as well. This year has brought about many new changes but I am embracing them fully! I have finalized all of the details for my second album and I will be working with a production team by the name of Block Cheddar in LA. They will be executive producing my whole album which will be a total sigh of relief for me because it makes my life so much easier in so many ways. I do not produce...as of now :) I am a singer and songwriter so its essential for me to find producers that understand where I want to take my project. I am working with basiaclly all new producers on this second album which is why it took me a little bit longer to get everything together. Some of the producers that will be on this project are Vishnu from Block Cheddar, Ski from Camp Lo, Apple Juice Kid and Bedrock.

The sound for this second album will be very soulful and will have more of a commercial edge to it than my past album. The songs will be faster more up beat but it will still have that sense of Amy Serrata (since my sound has a unique spin to it). I am so excited to share it with all of you! :) I am expecting to have this completed by this summer if all goes well.

Your love and support is much needed at this time. It really is very fascinating. The music business is in such a flux right now and so many people are scrambling because they are not sure what to do next. I think there are two ways that an artist can look at the new avenues that technology has provided us. One they can think oh I am just an artist I do not need to bother with the business side and they are so wrong. If you are an independant artist you do need to worry about those things or your music will not get heard. Now if you are lucky to form a team around you or get signed to a label then yes you will not need to worry about the business side as much. However, even if you do have a team you will want to know what is going on and how you can contribute.

There are people out there that will help out others in the business and offer them advice. Even people who have been in the business for years say that they are still paying their dues. There is a reason why most people give up in this business lol its because it takes so much work and sometimes it does not pay off. There really is no guarantee however if you think about it there is really no guarantee with anything in life. Just because you go to school to become a lawyer does not mean that you will be set in life or successful. Yes you will have the tools to be successful but it is up to you with what you do with those tools.

"Making your mark on the world is hard. If it were easy, everybody would do it. But its not. It takes patience, it takes commitment and it comes with plenty of failure along the way. The real test is not whether you avoid this failure, because you won't. Its whether you let it hard you or shame you into inaction, or whether you learn from it; whether you chose to perservere." This year has brought in many good and bad things but I am going to talk about the good today. Sometimes what we think might be a bad thing can be a blessing in disguise. I sat watching everyone with their families and children yesterday at my sister's house and thought I am glad that I am where I am in my life right now. I am glad I am not married and I am glad that I do not have kids right now in my life. While I do not know what my life will have in store for me, what I do know is that I am stronger than ever before.

I am thankful for the trials that I have had in my life because without them I would not be as strong as I am today. I am also thankful for the many blessings that I have had this year. Some of these are: the people that I have been able to met in the music business, the courage that i have had to book all of my shows by myself, my family who have loved and supported me throughout this year in the good times and the bad etc etc.

What are you thankful for?Amy Serratahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04893211609557785740noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624963336451369605.post-81299012958701862252009-04-14T02:08:00.000-07:002009-04-14T02:13:39.759-07:00Having the faith to continue to pursue my dreams
I'm booking more and more shows and I'm learning as I'm going that most places book one to two months and even three months sometimes or more depending on the venue and if they are a high end popular venue then yes it is very possible. So as I'm going I'm learning that I need to book way out in advance I'm booking for May and June and will start doing July soon too.

I'm excited with the shows that I've gotten so far and I'm excited to book more! I feel as giddy as a little school girl! It feels so good to be pursuing what I love doing in life! I trully believe that when you find something that your good at and that your really passionate about you can succeed as long as your proactive, a go getter and a hard worker! Faith without works is dead. So I am in a place right now where I am having to have faith that things will work out. But if you dont try you will never know!

I am excited for what will come later down the months and to see the response that people have for my music! I didn't spend all of this time and work for nothing ha. I now have to spread the word with performing blogging being on twitter myspace facebook etc. But I really trully enjoy interacting with all different kinds of people! Its all about developing relationships with people!
Amy Serratahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04893211609557785740noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624963336451369605.post-33331475890662342412009-02-20T16:46:00.000-08:002009-02-20T16:54:49.912-08:00Upcoming events for Amy Serrata
Ah its been a while since i've posted a blog on here. I'll be performing starting March! I'm excited and am in the process of memorizing all my lyrics. Man its one thing to write songs and another to memorize all the lyrics. Now its like when I write a song I think hmm is that too wordy and complicated? A lot of my songs are kinda complicated with all the adlibs and the harmonies its like they are their own little symphonies and books. They all tell a story. I guess its just my style. I just have so much to say what can I say? hehe.

I haven't been working much lately and its felt really great. I love to be home and just have the flexibility to go out to a club in the middle of the week or hang out with my girl friends in the middle of the day how sweet is that? My poor husband has to work a nine to five though i'm not really sure how he does it though. I'd rather just do music full time. I'm hoping that I will get to a point where I'll be able to gig more and eventually actually get paid for the gigs. We all have to pay our dues in the beginning. Often singers just sing for free or when they sing all of their money goes to their band. Its common now a days. Hoepfully there will come a time where it won't always be like that but like I said thats common when you start out. Its all about promotion at this point and just getting the word out.

I plan on video taping every show so that we can put it up on my facebook, my myspace, maybe even twitter, my website and youtube! Lets spread the word ladies and gentelemen!

My first gig in March is on March 13th at Club Otis in San Francisco with an amazing DJ named DJ Brigidope. He'll be spinning for me while I sing Love Another and Skin off of my album! All originals straight from my album! My next show after that will be at the Karribean in Oakland with a full band on March 26th and then the other show will be at Spice Monkey in Oakland on March 28th which will be a big show. There will be a swing band starting out, djs spinning out through out the show, an MC by the name of Namaj and then I'll be closing out the set with my band! Yah! I'm hoping that there will be a lot more gigs in April we'll just have to see! Its always good to make a following in your home town first and in my case the bay area is a small scene. So word does really spread fast.

Anyways I'd love to see all of you there at my shows and i'll keep you updated with anymore things that happen in the next up coming weeks or months! Hope all of you have a great week!
Amy Serratahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04893211609557785740noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624963336451369605.post-12403015739564670152009-02-03T20:54:00.000-08:002009-02-03T21:14:03.087-08:0050 RANDOM FACTS ABOUT MEHa ok since I'm so dang bored I decided to post up 25 random things about myself so that you can get to know more about me.

1. I just want to acknowledge all of the amazing people I have in my life right now. They see me as bigger as I am and not as my faults and what I should be but as my possibility of who I can be. Its so powerful to have them in my life and I've grown so much in my life. They are supporting me in following my dreams and have shared openly with me what I special gift I have to contribute to the world, giving positivity and good vibes through my music. How refreshing.

I talked with a good friend of mine tonight and she said that when we do not accept someones compliments we are not giving them opportunity to feel complete. I didn't know that people even felt like that. But now I see why. I often have hard time accepting compliments because often I do not think I'm good enough. But I am really. When I doubt myself its a loss of power. What if we did not doubt ourself and we kept moving and progressing as human beings? How amazing would that be?? I have had my close friends two of them both girls tell me openly about what I need to improve on and when I hurt them they can be open with me and direct and I can be ok with that. I could not do that before and had a hard time being straight with people and being vulnerable. Lately when I do really share myself and I talk about things that are meaningful to me I cry. Especially when I get present to the fact of how they have had such a positive change in my life. Its amazing how we all effect each other in different ways. Words are so powerful and actions are also very powerful as well.

Anyways I just wanted to leave these thoughts with you guys. I'm not sure whos reading this blog but I'm hoping that people do!Amy Serratahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04893211609557785740noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624963336451369605.post-46875470112322235882009-01-04T22:20:00.000-08:002009-01-04T22:25:10.718-08:00The things we do to feel fulfilled when if we could just remember why we are successful and make sure we dont become prideful it would all work out..So I'm listening tø a song right now its called When It All Falls Down by Kanye West and Lauren Hill. Its about a girl who dosen't finish college and she never finishes and gets resigned in life. Wow we all have our own issues huh? When it all falls down who are you going to call? We are all self concious and we tend to buy things that we don't need just to fulfill things that we really need inside but it never really lasts. That feeling of being fulfilled it never lasts. I was talking with my mom tonight and when it comes down to it when you make sure that you live a righteous life and you always remember why good things are happening in your life and you dont think its because your doing it its really God then you keep humble and you dont become prideful. I have really seen that when you do follow good things and you make sure that your always wanting to progress in all things in your life things will come into your life that you will have never even dreamed you could have done. Miracles will happen. Some people say its fate but I think it is something bigger than that.Amy Serratahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04893211609557785740noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624963336451369605.post-52419047863323813282009-01-03T13:30:00.000-08:002009-01-03T13:33:43.688-08:00In order to stay balanced in life we must refuse to stay in our make believe land where we think everything is fineYou know its funny. People can spew off the problems they are having in their life but until they are ready to hear what you are telling them they will probably just continue living in that suffering. Its sad how many people continue to live in their own fantasy land like oh everything is fine here but when in reality its really not. I think there are times when we do not prioritize things in our life that we should probably prioritize and take care of first so that everything else can stay in balance. I guess some people have to learn the hard way and they are too stubborn to get any help which is really sad to me. But in the end we all make our own choices in life and we can't 'save' anyone that does not want any 'saving' or help. So sometimes we have to step aside and let others do their own life when you see them really struggling. Its hard for me. I guess this is what a parent feels sometimes hehe with their own kids that are having a hard time in life.Amy Serratahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04893211609557785740noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624963336451369605.post-58746705406688890542009-01-02T14:54:00.000-08:002009-01-02T14:55:07.715-08:00Another year and another chance to accomplish what I have in mind for 2009Well man another year and another chance to attack life and make my dreams come true. I was thinking today that if it takes me till my forties to make it big in the music industry then whatever I'll do it. If thats the sacrifice that I have to make then so be it. Thats the only way that people do make it in this biz they make dope music and work their behinds off and stay consistent with doing so. Basically my goals for this new year is to be open to change even it takes me to places I wouldn't normally go and make some major break throughs with my music. I have been thinking for the past week that there is no other real job that I want to do then making music and performing. If that means that I only do that well thats so great! I'd rather do that and I'm basically a night owl anyways. I love to sleep in and then I love to go out later in the day. I'm just kinda wired like that. Anyways I had a great new years and its always a time when I reflect what I've accomplished and what goals I want to accomplish this year. I feel like I did a lot in 2008. I wrote an album which I've been wanting to do for years but never thought I could do it. I'm living the life I've always dreamed of and I have faith that I will find a band so I can start performing. I also have faith that I will get signed by a label and that my music will get the press that it deserves. I worked really hard to make my music positive and uplifting. The whole time I was writing each song I had that in mind. Anyways hope you all are reflecting on what you'd like to accomplish this year and that you actually make it happen. Its one thing to talk about doing things and its another thing with actually acting on it!Amy Serratahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04893211609557785740noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624963336451369605.post-5567406391899010802008-12-28T14:10:00.000-08:002008-12-28T14:20:04.776-08:00The things I did for others on Christmas and some goals I'd like to achieve in 2009Well I ended up delivering Christmas dinner to two families in a town that is really struggling. Unfortunately one of the families was not at the address that I had for them so I'm thinking about donating the dinner to a woman in a near by battered woman's shelter. I've never been abused thank heavens but my heart really goes out to women who have been emotionally and physically abused. It felt great to help out some of the families that are really struggling. This is really what Christmas is all about. I think its easy to get caught up in what do I have and I may not have enough to donate to others. Not true. In many times we have more than we think.

Someone said that if we are positive in life we can radiate that and it will effect everyone around us. What a profound comment. A lady at church said that and it really struck me because it is so true. I am commited to do that in 2009 and as a friend of mine says to get off it. I love surrounding myself with people that are supporting me in what I want to achieve in my life and vice versa I do the same for them. In reality if we surround ourselves with people who see us as bigger than who we are and what our potential is it can really help us grow. I keep those people like that really close to me.

In 2009 I am commited to being fearless and unstoppable in achieving my dreams. I do not want fear to get in my way in anything that I want to succeed at. Ultimately if we decide that we can not do something then we probably can't. Its up to us to be our own cheer leader and to continue on relying on our own strength. Not everyone will be there for us to carry us through in life. I've really realized that this year and have grown a lot. 2009 will bring about a lot of positive changes in my life I can just feel it and whatever they are you have to embrace change because often more than not things happen even better than what we thought they were as long as we are striving to become better in our life. I wanted to share some of these thoughts with you.Amy Serratahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04893211609557785740noreply@blogger.com0
